The Fifth of Trees is a large forested region, said to cover one-fifth of the land. It is located in the northern part of a large continental region, bridging the populated landmass to the desolate polar region. It spans temperate and boreal zones, bordering an arid badlands, mountain ranges, an ocean, and the highlands of Belegon.
It is composed of nine characteristic regions. The established boundaries of the forest regions are features of the geography of the Fifth of Trees. They are somewhat analogous to defended political zones of control in some regions, though much of the region is not centrally governed by anyone.
