Hilgarrad Fortress is a castle in Edilyn Forest. It is the northern-most settlement in the Fifth of Trees. It supports a modest population.
Location
The site is located north of Colnem, its supporting town, which connects it to Edilyn's road network and Great Lake Taddan It was constructed to defend Edilyn's northern hinterland from any possible Corthan invasion. Its proximity to the Wild Dark necessitates its continued use for defense.
