Great Corthan Wood
The Great Corthan Wood is the second-largest Forest Region in the Fifth of Trees. It is entirely within the territory of Cortha, comprising the majority of that country's lands, with the New Forest making up the rest.
Geography
The Corthan forest is home to two of the Fifth's major lakes, Aina and the Corthan Spring. The Heynan, the largest river in the Fifth of Trees, is located entirely within the region as well as the end of the Sarena, where it flows into Aina. A small part of the coastline of Great Lake Taddan is within the region.
It is the only region that borders the New Forest, the southernmost Forest Region. It also borders Edilyn Forest and Edilyn in the west and the Northwoods to its north. It is naturally bound by Talkyra Canyon to its southwest and the eastern ocean.
